Pitchfork People’s List

I know, I know. My contribution into the “readers’ favourite albums of the P4k age” poll isn’t worthy of its own blog entry. But something had to break the 3 1/2 month writing silence. I used to like making these lists in 2005. On this one, there are 50 albums, with 5 by Radiohead, 3 each by Björk and Eels and 2 each by PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, Bill Callahan, Joanna Newsom (two pairs of ex-couples – a coincidence) and Sufjan Stevens. At #1 is an album Pitchfork never reviewed – another coincidence, I’m not just out to be contrary.

The list is here (or just look down).
